Erie Together hosts community events designed to inform, connect, and encourage participation in our town. Our first events, So You Want to Be a Candidate? and Understanding Water in Erie: Today and Tomorrow, brought residents together with experienced community leaders and Town staff to learn, ask questions, and better understand issues that affect Erie's future.

How does hydraulic fracturing actually work? What happens to air quality and methane emissions? What rights do communities, landowners, and mineral owners have?

Join Erie Together for an evening of information and Q&A with experts who work with oil and gas from different perspectives. We'll start with a short overview of how hydraulic fracturing works, then hear from our panel about air quality and emissions, environmental impacts, oil and gas operations, mineral rights, and the laws governing development.

Most importantly, we'll leave plenty of time for residents to ask questions.
